Lush's Fizzbanger Bath Bomb

‘Love' Filled Fragrance
One bath with this bomb and you`ll fall in love with the fantastically colourful swirls and the delectable apple cinnamon scent, courtesy of our ‘B' Love fragrance. Fizzbanger`s scent changes right before your nose, from the scent of sweet apples to spicy cinnamon toffee. After all, what`s love without a little mystery? --Lush.com

Okay, so in my latest Lush Bath Bomb video, I tried out the Fizzbanger. I have to say this may be 1 of my favorites. To me, the scent smells like lemon drops (though the website reads to be apple & cinnamon toffee), but I'm coming down with a cold (again, grr!) so maybe my scense was off, lol! Also, on the website, the picture of the bath bomb looks more green than it does in person, looks more yellow. But when you drop this into your bath, it gives off really good foam & once the bath bomb starts to dissolve, it reveals a really pretty blue center that starts to turn your water blue & evenventually the water turns into the most beautiful emerald green color I have ever seen!

Now to answer the most important questions, "how did it make my skin feel" & "will I rebuy"?? My skin felt amazing after my bath, so good that I didn't bother to moisturize before I go to bed (I always moisturize before I do) & woke up with my skin all dry, I suffer from really bad dry skin during the winter. =( I must remember to moisturize no matter how great this made my skin feel, I will suffer in the morning. I do plan on stocking up on this bath bomb!

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog, here is the link to my video on this bath bomb!

My new guilty pleasure

Okay, so I go through phases where I get completely obessed with an item & then I'll switch to something else, crazy huh? Well, lately I've been addicted to Cherry Coke! I normally won't drink any kinda of cheery drink (unless it's Cheerwine) but as much as it kills me, I love this soda! I know, I know, soda is bad for me, but this fat kid likes soda, haha! But yea, I have been drinking Cherry Coke like there is no tomorrow & I actually went up to our Coke Rep (I work in retail & it has drink machines) & I complained about they never have cold Cherry Coke. Normally it doesn't bother me what kind of drink is in the drink machine, but like I said, I'm addicted! I wonder if there is an AA class/meeting for this problem, haha!

Merry Christmas!

Hi guys! So the day is coming to an end, David & Kenobi are passed out on the bed & I'm just sitting here in the living room cuddled up in my pink Snuggie, watching the Star Wars trilogy on Spike & just thinking to myself how great the last couple of days have been for me.

For those of you who know, this year was my first year celebrating Christmas (I'm Jewish & David is not & we both decided that we would do both). It was a great experience of decorating a tree, wrapping presents (which I suck at) & playing the waiting game (which I suck at too). By Thursday night I was so excited, especially since that's when David put my presents under our tree , that I could not sleep! He actually let me open up 1 present that night as well which was my awesome pink Snuggie! That's all I really wanted anyways, I don't like him spending a lot of money on me. My dad brought my sister & I up on not to rely on a man to support us, I guess that's why I'm so independent. So I had to work on Friday with no sleep but going around telling everybody that I got my Snuggie. I'm still excited about it!

On Friday night when I got off work, David & I went over to his cousins house where we spent the evening with his family. His family is so sweet to me & caring & I just can't wait to be apart of it! We ate good food, had some good laughs, especially when his dad was telling me how David always got into trouble, opened up presents & just had a good time!

When we got back home, I couldn't wait any longer, I had to have David open his present from me! He's been wanting a dock for his Ipod so I bought him an Ihome which I never seen him so excited!! While he was putting it together, I emptied out Kenobi's stocking which was filled with all kinds of fun toys for him. It only took him less than 30 minutes to bust his new tennis ball & tear the Bobo apart, cray dog!!

After David had got him Ihome together & hooked up, he finally gave me the rest of my presents! I was really impressed, the boy knows how to pay attention! He bought me a pair of wedges & a necklace that I've been eyeing for about a month now. I know it's too cold to be wearing wedges but their super cute! He also got me the 2ND season of TrueBlood (I love vampires).

Today, David got me up super early, so I started out a little grouchy. He messed around with his Ihome while I played catch with Kenobi. Turns out he needs to update his Ipod before it will work in the Ihome & he can't find his cord that hooks up to the computer to update it! So hopefully when he goes to his brothers house, he can get it updates because they have the same Ipod. So pretty much we laid in bed, David turned on some Christmas tunes & we just relaxed all morning. Around 2pm today it started snowing! Can you believe it??!! I have NEVER seen it snow on Christmas, so I think everybody here in the southeast got 1 of their Christmas wishes to come true. So we headed up to Davids aunts house for lunch at 3, which was really yummy! I ate watergate salad for the first time it was delish! I so need to get that recipe! We hung out for a couple of hours talking & spending family fun time together.
We left right before it started to get dark so the roads weren't be to bad for driving. Now my boys are passed out & I'm sitting here, telling you guys about my first Christmas. I really just made me realize that I need to spend more time with my family, I don't seem them as much as I should & I miss them like crazy! Maybe after the snow clears, I'll go visit them!
Anyways, I hope all you guys had a great Christmas & if you are traveling, be safe!!! =)

A new show that I'm addicted too!

Hi guys!!! =)
I was off today & I came across a marathon of "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant." If you're unsure what this show is, it's about women who have no idea that they are preggers until they go into labor. I was glued to the TV! Some of the stories were kinda lame/stupid (I laughed at those) but most of the episodes, I cried like a baby! OMG, it was sad but happy all at the same time. I believe that this show comes on TLC because the Sarah Palin show came on after the marathon, which really bothered me because I like literally watched the show ALL day when I got home from the animal shelter. Though part of me feels like I just wasted my day away, but I work in retail & the holidays are the worst for us who work in retail, so I guess it's ok for me to have a lazy day & watch awesome TV! But yea, check out the show, it comes on TLC (I think), it's the same channel that the Sarah Palin show comes on (they kept advertising the show lol).

Thor needs a home!

So today I gave my friend a ride to the animal shelter for he is thinking of adopting a kitty. Looking around my shelter, I was amazed by how many animals are homeless & it just broke my heart to pieces! It also made me feel good that there were so many people in there looking into adopting & I actually watched a little girl beg & plea with her dad to get her a dog, which he did. While, I was looking around, not only did it made me miss my cats (David's allergic so I left them with my sister), but I found the cutest dog that I would love to adopt! This is Thor & I fell in love with him!!! I only wish that I could give him a home, but I can't! I believe he is a German Shepard mix & when my eyes met his, I knew I would love him. I live in a small apartment & I love my dog (Kenobi, a Boston Terrier) & I really want to give him a playmate but it just wouldn't be fair to put Thor is such a small environment where he can't run & roam around. But if my apartment were bigger, I would've brought him home today!!!
The more I think about, the more I'm tempted to go back & get him...maybe after the holidays. But if you live in North Carolina, especially in the Greensboro area, go to the Guilford Animal Shelter & adopt Thor!

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog!!!

Negative FeedBack

So lately I've been getting a lot of negative feedback on my videos, especially my videos that I do on the Lush products that I purchased lately (the bath bombs) & it has me quite upset. Maybe I'm thinking too much into it but I NEVER ONCE said that I was an expert on these items! The point of me doing these videos are to show people who have no idea what Lush is about & just to who them how much fun their products really are!!
I'm trying not to let them get to me. I have followers who love my videos, though sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm talking about, but people do like me! I wanted to do YouTube to help those who are on a budget or just don't make a lot of money that it is possible to get nice things....just got to be patient, save money & have an eye out for awesome deals!!!
Now that I have vented, I feel a bit better! It just really gets me down on how negative people can be & I just don't understand why they want to hurt somebody & put them down. I just got to remember that I am loved by others & that if they want to be nasty & negative, that they can just shove it! I really do enjoy ding these videos & I don't plan on stopping so if you don't like what I have to say or show...just don't watch them!!! But if you do enjoy my channel, keep watching & hopefully soon they'll be another video of my sister & myself, I know you guys like those!!!!

*If this ofends, I do apologize, I just had to get that off my chest, haha!

Lush's Mrs. Whippy Bath Bomb

I have mix feelings about this bath bomb. The smell is delicious but it just didn't soften my skin as much as wanted it to. The smell actually reminds me of Yummy, Yummy, Yummy which is a shower gel that was discontinued or you can only get in now on the retro part of the website. On the website, the smell is described as being strawberry ice cream scented (which happens to be my favorite ice cream), it's not a very strong, overpowering smell, but it's a nice sweet smell. Luckily my skin didn't come out as dry as my skin did when I used the Boog bath bomb, but I still had to moisturize. Also the foam/tiny bubbles that it produces doesn't last very long. *sadface*

So the question is, "will I repurchase this product?" Most likely YES! But with this being such a sweet smell, I'll most likely buy it again in the spring/summer time. With it being winter, I like more of a bakery/spicy smell (I like a comforting smell).

But Mrs. Whippy just makes the bath so pretty!!! It makes a nice milky bath with pink swirls, isn't that just too cute!!!!
I just wish that the foam/tiny bubbles/pink swirls would last longer.

Lush's Boogg Bath Bomb

I really didn't like this bath bomb...the "fireworks" looked really pretty in the tub, but my skin feels even more drier than it did before I got in, especially my hands & feet. & the smell...it smells like Comet bathroom cleaner....So the question is, "will I rebuy??" Um, no!! I was so disappointed which breaks my heart cause I'm such a Lushie! *sadface*

I welcome myself....

I've always wanted to start a blog, actually started 1 once, but I could never really figure out what I wanted to say to blog about. Since I've started doing youtube videos, I'd figure that I would give this "blog world" another chance.

I'm still trying to figure out what I want this blog to be, but I'm kinda going in the direction of having my blogs go along with my videos as well as other personal doings that go on in my daily life. So I welcome myself to the world of blog!!!

I hope this goes well cause I do have a lot on my mind & what other place should I express my thoughts other than on here! So in advance I want to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos, reading my posts, or if you just happen to stumple across this rambling. Even if any of this doesn't make any sense, just thank you for taking the time for getting to know me.
Yours Truly,
Kelly
