Soft & Simple for Winter!

Hi guys! I was looking through the magazine section a while ago at Target when I came across the November issue of Vogue which had Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe. I normally don't read a whole lot of fashion magazines, but she looked amazing on the cover! So I picked it up & started looking through the magazine to read the article. Well, I was blown away by all the fabulous pictures that I didn't read the article & David was ready to leave. But one picture remained on my mind. About a day or so later, I started looking through my makeup seeing if I had anything similar to the makeup she was wearing & found some items comparable. Now this tutorial that I posted down below isn't a recreation of the look of the picture. It's just my way of paying tribute to Michelle & Marilyn because it my opinion, I don't want to steal the look. I just wanted to create it to my best of knowledge & what works for me. I think this look is very soft but simple, especially in the winter season. Enjoy!

Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Palette Tutorial

Hey everyone! Today while watching football, I felt very inspired by the boys wearing pink for breast cancer awareness month that I decided to do a pink tutorial. Yes I did use some purple (can't help myself, pink & purple go so well together) but it just brought the whole look together, Also this gave me the perfect excuse to use the Wet n Wild Petal Pusher palette that has some very pretty purples & pinks. Now the look that I came up with is very wearable (well in my opinion anyways), the colors are just very soft & just play well together. I link the video down below as well a list of products that I used. Enjoy!!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milk
Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Palette

Outfit of the Day!!!

Hi guys!! So this is my very first OOTD video & I'm super excited about it!!! If you are unsure what an OOTD (outfit of the day) video is, it is where I show you what I'm wearing for the day. I do not plan on doing this everyday, but every now & then I'll post 1 of these. I just think that these types of videos (including FOTD) are going to be so much fun to film. In the video below, I'm wearing clothes from Wal Mart to Old Navy. I'm not 1 of those girls who can only wear 1 type of label, I enjoy all kinds & really don't see a point in spending a whole lot of money on clothes. Just as long as they look good, right??
I hope you enjoy the video down below & as always, thank you for taking the time out of your day to see me!! =)

Face of the Day!!!

I've recently been requested to start doing FOTD videos & I've decided to give them a try. So far the response has been amazing!!! I didn't want to start blogging these videos until I was certain that they were going to be a success. So down below I'll out the videos I've done so far & promise to start blogging more in detailed of what I'm wearing & what not. Also while I'm typing up this blog, I'm uploading an OOTD (outfit of the day) which is my 1st video in that series.
I would appreciate any type of feed back, letting me know if you enjoy these types of videos/blogs & what can I do to improve on them.
As always, thank you for your time!!! =)

Review: WEN Cleansing Conditioner

So for the last month or so, I have been using WEN. I purchased my WEN from QVC which allowed me to order the supersized product & also gives you the option to set up a payment plan. Now I know that making payment on haircare if crazy but if you're on a tight budget, I feel that this is a real good thing since the economy isn't where it should be.
In the video below I take you step by step on how to use WEN from start to finish (don't worry no shower scenes, haha) but I also give my own opinion on the product which is not influenced by nobody but myself! Enjoy!!

Did I shave my legs for this???

All shave gels/creams all claim that they are moisturizing & give you the closest shave that you ever had, but are they all the same or is 1 better than another?? Well for the last couple of weeks I've put 2 different shaving products to the test & I was actually impressed with the results that I got.

Review: Chi 44 Iron Gaurd vs. Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray

Which product to I like better??? In my opinion I lean towards Tresemme! Not only because it is a lot cheaper (Chi 44 Iron Guard 14.99 at CVS & Tresemme Heat Tamer 4.99 at CVS) I feel like I have more options for use! I normally don't blow dry my hair a whole lot during the summer & I just spray the Tresemme to keep my hair protected from the heat of the sun as to wear I feel as if the Ch i Iron Guard just doesn't do that at all, that it is only made for flat irons! You can also use Tresemme Heat Tamer for blow dryers & curling irons. I'm not sure if you can use the Chi 44 Iron Guard for curling irons, my hair won't curl with 1 unfortunately.
Also, another downer for the Chi 44 Iron Guard is that it weighs down my hair! I have really fine hair & it just makes my hair feel heavy & forget about having volume! I am also prone to having oily hair & within an hour or so, my hair looks greasy as get out! Like I haven't washed my hair in weeks!
So I'm disappointed with the Chi 44 Iron Guard, just not worth the money!!

Where have I been???

Hi everyone!!!
Well, I've been having issues with blogspot not working for me for the last couple of months! I've been trying & trying to post on here, but for some odd reason when I would hit the "publish post" option after I have typed up everything, blogspot wouldn't let me submit, like the button was disabled or something. Well tonight I decided to go through the help forum (I don't know why it took me this long to do) & I finally found my solution that I needed & now I'm back!!! Yay!!!! Now to get some followers, that would be awesome! So my question to you my friends, are you reading???

Cranberry Shatter

So I was going through my nail polish collection trying to decide on what color I wanted to paint my nails. I really want a nice lavender color but I don't have one (note to self that I must buy one) & I came across the OPI "The One That Got Away" from the Katy Perry collection which I haven't worn yet. I bought this months ago, apparently my brain decided to depart my body for a couple of months because this is a very pretty color! It is just a very pretty cranberry color w/ a lot of shimmer & I LOVE shimmery nail polishes! I have no idea what has been keeping me from wearing this color, it looks great by itself as well with the OPI "Black Shatter", which is also from the Katy Perry collection.

Sorry I'm a messy painter & I touched them up as best I can. I have my good days & my bad days & today just happened that my nails didn't come out picture perfect, but you get the right ideam right??? Haha, I really don't make any sense but I hope this blog was just enjoyable to read as it was to type!

Do What???

I've been spending the day w/ my sister just hanging around my parents house, trying to spend much needed QT w/ my parents & her, that somehow I got put to work! Somehow I got stuck cooking dinner & cleaning out the fish tank. Well I haven't done the fish tank yet, but I guess I'll do it tomorrow. Though my fried chicken turned out AWESOME, I'm just trying to figure out how in the world did I get stuck cooking?? Aren't I a guest? Or do I even count as a guest since I use to live here?? I don't think I'll ever figure it out, but I do have fun w/ my family.

So yea, my sister has already passed out on me & I'm laying here on an air mattress trying to keep myself entertained since I'm not entirely sleepy. Though I probably could get myself to fall asleep, but I know if I go to bed this early, I'll be up at the butt crack of dawn. I hate how I never get enough sleep though I refuse to take any kind of medication to help me sleep. I mean, people get addicted to them pills & I don't want to go down a path because it almost seems that every other Hollywood death, there is always a sleeping pill in his/her system. I'm not going down like that!

I feel like this blog is just a bunch of nothingness & blah blah blah, but I am at my parents house where I have no place to film a vlog, so I chose the other alternative, blogging!! Whoop!! Which I am trying to keep up w/ this blog. Just aren't blogs suppose to have a point or something? Though I do post blogs related to my YouTube channel & other beauty related products...I just want something more...I have a lot of randomness that runs through my head that I would love to jot down so I'm using this blog as an excuse to type up any crazy idea I get, especially if I cant film. But I'm just wondering, is anybody reading my posts??

Blue & Black

I recently hauled in a video that I picked up the Black Shatter nail polish by OPI & I really wanted to do a really bright color underneath it & blue came to mind. You just can't go wrong with blue! So I ventured out to my local Target this morning & I was in search of the prefect Carolina Blue color for March Madness. I picked up Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear nail polish in the shade Blue Me Away. Looking at the color, you would think it was the prefect Carolina Blue color, but it goes on a tad bit darker, like it's an almost neon blue color. Though I am loving this shade of blue & how it turned out with the Black Shatter on top, I just wish the color was a bit lighter which would make it the prefect Carolina Blue.

With spring being on it's way, I was wanting to paint my nails a fun, springy color & what "pink" nail polish doesn't scream spring right?? I was at my Ulta the other day & while I was checking out, there was a HUGE display of OPI pink nail polishes & this color stood out to me screaming YOU MUST BUY ME!! So of course I did buy it & I'm in love with this shade of pink. Its a very nice, metallic pink & I just think it's prefect for spring. Spring, please get here in a hurry!!!

Dermalogica Skincare Products

So for the past couple of weeks, I've been listening to my sister talk about how great her skin has been since she switched to using Dermalogica so of course, I had to check it out for myself. I drove up to my local Ulta & looked at all the products by this company. I was just amazed by how this company pin points to certain skin types! They had skin care for all types of skin! So I picked up the I guess is called the starter/travel kit for dry skin & even though tonight is the first night I have used it, my skin feels amazing!!!! I know, know, whenever you switch to a new skincare product, your skin always feel amazing, but I just have a gut feeling that this is going to be my "for now on" skincare routine.
In the starter/travel skit, you get 5 different steps, along with 2 samples, which isn't bad for $35.00 at Ulta. Though the full size containers are a bit more expensive, but aren't you worth it??
But like I said, I know it's only my first time using this, but I really hope this works out! I'm having the hardest time finding the prefect skincare routine & my skin is suffering! Also, it takes up to 30 days for the new skincare routine to take full affect (pretty much with any medicine, like birth control lol!) & I will post an updated blog letting you guys know how the Dermalogica skincare products is working! Plus I need to blog more, Ive forgotten how much fun this can be! So until my update, I look forward to writing you in my next blog!!! =)
xoxo

Also, I hope that you guys had a great Valentines day! David & I didn't celebrate it since we're going on vacation at the end of the week, we kinda decided to wait to celebrate it when we start vacay! Though he did get me flowers, he's so sweet! Bye!!! =)

Coastal Scents 28 Piece Eye Shadow Neutral Palette

To view my review, please visit:
For more info on this product, please visit:
I've been wanting this palette for the longest time & my sister was so sweet & surprised me with it. She actually had it delivered to my apartment, I was so confused when FedEx dropped in off (I explain the story in the video). Not only is this palette awesome. it's AMAZING!!!
The colors in this palette are very pigmented & go on so smoothly. The colors are very blendable as well. These colors also last all day, I even tried using 1 of the colors without an eye primer & I had no creasing whatsoever! I am just amazed on the color & staying power of this palette! Also, this palette is very affordable, around $20.00 depending on the type of shipping you choose.

This is the second palette that I've received from Coastal Scents & I love them! If you're just starting out a makeup collection or you just don't have a whole lot of money spend (both qualify for myself) this is a great way to go. I also have the 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette (my first palette from Coastal Scents) which I'll post a blog on soon to go with this post. But check out their website, they have all kinds of different palettes, I do believe that I'll be purchasing the blush & contour palette soon! =)

I hope that this review was enjoyable to read, I'll post below up close pictures of these beautiful colors of this palette!
